Meta Pixel

Track the actions taken by users on your website with Meta Pixel

About Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel is a piece of code that you place on your website to track the actions users take on your site after clicking on a Meta ad. It works by placing and triggering cookies to track users as they interact with your website and your Meta ads. These interactions can include page views, purchases, sign-ups, and more. Meta Pixel boosts ad performance by tracking website actions post-ad clicks, aiding conversion tracking, audience targeting, and ad personalization. It refines targeting strategies, enhances ad engagement, and optimizes ad spend allocation through insightful attribution modeling, ultimately maximizing ROI.

How to integrate it with Muvi
Sign Up for Meta Pixel: Access Facebook Events Manager: Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to the Events Manager section. If you haven't set up a Facebook Pixel yet, you'll need to create one by clicking on "Add New Data Source" and selecting "Facebook Pixel." Generate Pixel Code: Once your Pixel is set up, you'll receive a Pixel ID. Click on your Pixel to access its settings and then click on "Set up" to generate the Pixel code. Add Pixel Code to Your Website: Copy the Pixel code provided by Facebook. Paste the code into the each page on your website via SEO settings under VD. Or you can preferably add just before the closing </head> tag via BYOD. Verify Installation: After adding the Pixel code to your website, you can use Facebook's Pixel Helper browser extension or the Events Manager in Facebook to verify that the Pixel is installed correctly and tracking events. Set Up Event Tracking (Optional): Depending on your objectives, you may want to track specific events such as purchases, sign-ups, or page views. To do this, you can add additional code snippets provided by Facebook to relevant pages on your website, triggering the tracking of these events. Test and Monitor: Once everything is set up, it's essential to test the Pixel's functionality to ensure it's tracking events accurately. You can do this by visiting your website, interacting with different elements, and checking if the events are being recorded in Facebook's Events Manager.
